Koedoeslaagte Trail Park, Parys, Free State and Transvalia High School are proud to know this new 2021 SA Junior Mountainbike Cross-Country Champion in person; Johan de Villiers. Everyone wants to own a piece of this man, but he is destined to greater fame. On Saturday 25th of August, Johan pedaled his way to success at the SA Championships in Pietermaritzburg at the Cascades Mountainbike track. Johan regularly train at the Koedoeslaagte Trail Park and has been a member of Tranvalia High School's cycling team over the past 5 years. After being omitted from the SA World Championship Junior team earlier this year, Johan was determined to make is mark by claiming this most prestigious SA title. To make it all sweeter, Koedoeslaagte Trail Park near Parys was selected to host the first SA Cup race for the 2021 Mountainbike season. Now, all of Parys, Potchefstroom and the Vaal Triangle can come and see their champion in action on 26 February 2022. Congratulations Johan!
